Recognizing the fact that the Internet has revolutionized mass communication, we endeavor to enable our congregants to utilize computer technology to fulfill the mission of Atherton Baptist Church. That is, to lead our members into a loving, learning, loyal and lasting relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We, further, commit to develop and enhance their knowledge of digital technology to facilitate communication, community and discipleship as required in the Biblical mandate found in Matthew 22:9:
To teach general technology & computer skills on all levels to our church family, including Senior Saints, Youth and Young Adults, and all age groups.
To give instruction in the fundamental methods of using the Internet as a means for evangelism and Biblical enrichment.
To provide guidance in how to use computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and other desktop products, and create web and graphic designs.
To instill practices that insure the safe and proper use of electronic devices such as smartphones, iPads/tablets, and the like.
Technology Resources for all ages and experience levels!
